Mission
To provide a modern multidisciplinary bachelor program Science educating students in math, physics, chemistry and biology in English with fixed curriculum for the first two years and completely flexible study plans for the final third year. To educate bachelors with an edge: Strong interdisciplinary skills developed from the very first days of their study at the university.
Most of the bachelor programs in Science offered around the world are specialized either in Biology, Chemistry or Physics. There are relatively very few exceptions of bachelor programs broader than one of the study areas named above. Pioneered by Science program at Cambridge University, programs covering more than one of the areas were recently offered, e.g., at Helsinky and Maastricht Universities. Students are typically building their own curricula from the first year of the study. Bachelor program Science at Charles University comes with different and original vision.
Vision
To give students a chance to postpone decision about the study area by two years during which they will get solid mathematical skills and establish equal insight into biology, chemistry, and physics while building unique interdisciplinary skills. Based on acquired knowledge, students will build their own study plans for the final year of the study that will lead them towards selected specialization and specific follow-up 🔗 Master studies.

Program Science is in English, therefore, there is a tuition of 60 000 CZK. However, number of scholarships covering the tuition for the students are available, see section SCHOLARSHIPS for details.
